The 7th International Conference on Medical Design (MD2026) is now calling for oral and poster presentations. MD2026 will be held at MRANTI in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. We invite scholars and practitioners to submit extended abstracts or posters in English on any aspect of Medical Design and Digital Healthcare — with a particular focus on AI applications in medicine and healthcare — for consideration. Accepted submissions will be presented at the conference and included in the digital MD2026 Conference Book, which will be published and distributed via the conference website. Through a rigorous review process, outstanding submissions and presentations will be selected for the Best Conference Paper Award and Best Poster Presentation Award. We look forward to receiving your contributions and to welcoming you to MD2026 for a successful and enriching conference.

REGISTRATION & FEES
At least one author of each accepted paper or poster must complete a Regular Registration by no later than 23th Oct. 2026 to present at the conference and have the work included in the proceedings. Please be aware that one regular registration will cover the publication of only one accepted paper or poster.

Competition Workshop
A full-day, hands-on design challenge where multidisciplinary teams are guided step-by-step from clinical needs identification to solution development, prototyping, and pitch preparation using a structured medical design thinking approach. The workshop will be led by experienced facilitators who will mentor participants throughout the entire innovation journey.
In the workshop, participants will learn a complete medical design thinking process and apply it to develop a structured solution concept, culminating in the preparation of a professional pitch presentation for the next day’s official pitching competition during the Main Conference.
