Welcome to the 5th International Conference on Medical Design (MD2024), a collaborative initiative jointly organized by the Medical Design Association, Chiang Mai University, and Chang Gung University. MD2024 provides an international platform where professionals can share insights and engage in discussions on the forefront of medical design. As the aging population grows, the significance of smart health solutions and advanced medical technologies becomes increasingly critical. Recent breakthroughs in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT) have become focal points, catalyzing important conversations about their applications and the synergy between IoT and AI to propel innovative healthcare solutions and opportunities.
This year's conference theme, "Digital health & AI Innovation: Transforming Future Global Healthcare”, underscores our commitment to these pivotal technologies. The 5th International Conference on Medical Design (MD 2024) is calling for oral and poster presentations. MD 2024 will be held at Chiang Mai University in Chiang Mai, Thailand. We invite scholars and practitioners to submit extended abstracts or posters in English covering any aspect of Medical Design for consideration at the MD conference. The accepted extended abstracts and posters will be presented at the conference. Additionally, a digital version of the MD 2024 Conference Book will be published and distributed on the conference website, containing the accepted extended abstracts and posters. Our rigorous evaluation process will identify the most outstanding submissions and presentations, with the opportunity to receive the prestigious BEST CONFERENCE PAPER AWARD and BEST POSTER PRESENTATION AWARD. Accepted extended abstracts and posters will have the opportunity to submit full or short articles to the MD Journal or Proceedings. The submission of full or short articles to the MD Journal or Proceedings will take place immediately after the conference. We eagerly look forward to receiving your contributions and envision MD 2024 as a successful and enriching event for all participants.
To ensure a smooth publication process, please submit your work in MS Word format using the provided templates and submit it through the Manuscript Submission System. The conference covers a wide range of topics related to Medical Design. While submissions on various subjects are welcome, we are particularly interested in the following topics:

The abstract submission deadline is 30 September 2024. Kindly be aware that registrations for accepted papers must be submitted by 28 October 2024 and are non-refundable. If you register after the deadline, your paper may not be included in the conference program and the Proceedings.
Kindly note that it is mandatory for at least one author of each accepted paper or poster to complete a registration by 28 October 2024 in order to present at the conference. This is necessary for the work to be included in the conference program and book. It's important to remember that one registration will only cover the publication of a single accepted paper or poster.
